My best friend is here! She arrived on Wednesday and is here until Tuesday. I haven't seen her since last November, so having her here is a joy. We had grand plans to do Garden of the Gods today, but we've been rained out. It'll have to wait for another day. We're sitting at a coffee shop, enjoying the weather anyway.
Yesterday, after I picked her up from the airport, we drove up through Divide to Victor and Cripple Creek. She is an avid photographer, so she sneaked some shots of me on our little jaunt. They turned out really well.
